Announcement of the visit of the head of the NATO Committee in the European Parliament, Member of Parliament Paulo Casaca 

Beirut, February 22, 2006

By invitation of the International Lebanese Committee for UNSCR 1559, MP Paulo Casaca, who is the head of the NATO committee at the European Parliament, will visit Lebanon on Saturday 25, Sunday 26 and Monday 27 February 2006.

Mr. Casaca will meet, in the presence of the Committee general coordinator in Lebanon Toni Nissi and the Committee Members, with Prime Minister Fouad Saniora, Parliament Member Walid Joumblat, Parliament Member Saad Hariri, Patriarch Sfeir, General Michel Sleiman, Parliament Boutros Harb, as well as members of the Cedars Revolution World Council present in Lebanon. Mr. Casaca will also present his respects to the family of late Parliament Member and martyr of the cedar revolution Mr. Gebran Tueni.

Mr. Casaca will end his visit with a press conference on Monday 27th at 3:30pm at the Annahar Building in Beirut.
