ArDO: Yes we want Lebanon to be the Switzerland of the East and Beirut the Paris of the East

Hepatica and ArDO helps refugees in Lebanon

Aramean Democratic Organization, Ardo is pleased to publish the Christmas campaign 2015/2016 with the Swedish organization Hepatica. The campaign was to raise money for food supplies to refugees in Lebanon.

The Iraqi Chaldeans were this time those who could benefit. This group was the latest wave of Aramaic refugees who fled from Mosul area after that ISIS had come in and killed and expelled

the unarmed people.

The sum collected could help 41 families with 41 food packages that can last for a week. The group is linked to the Chaldean bishop's seat in Sabttiye, Beirut need much help with jobs, education, food, medicine, clothing, and not least health care.

What we have done and will continue to do is something that can ease life a little bit for these persecuted people belonging to one of the Middle East's indigenous peoples.

We believe that it is not about one being able to help everyone, but everyone can help someone.

We will continue to work together to help people in place and where the needs are greatest.
