Introduction (English): In an exclusive interview with CR News, Dr Walid Phares exposed the strategic plans of the Iranian and Syrian regimes for Lebanon. The interview, conducted in Lebanese and Arabic, covered three major areas: The Iranian regime plans for the region as a whole particularly in Iraq. And the "Axis" attempts to end the Cedars Revolution in Lebanon. Phares told CRNews that Iran, Syria and Hezbollah are working on several stages to undermine the elected Government in Beirut, obstruct the legislative majority from electing a strong and free President for the country. "The next President in Lebanon cannot but implement the UN resolutions, disarm Hezbollah and stand firmly against Terrorism.
