Your Excellency Mr. Massoud Al-Brazani, President of the Kurdistan region.

May God's peace be with you.

I am writing to you asking you for your well known justice and love for all people of Iraq without any exception and distinction.

In the Chaldean bishops meeting held in Ankwa on  May 5th 2009, we insisted on our Chaldean national identity along with the rest of ethnicities. We therefore remind your Excellency of our equitable request to include the Chaldean ethnicity name, its identity and legitimate rights as own national one along with the other ethnicities.

We also thank you for your consistent position towards the various nationalities that make up the Iraqi people, including Chaldeans, Syriacs and Assyrians and of your concern of not integrate their names under a fabricated one. Further we kindly ask you to protect the rights of all the ethnicities who are living in the Kurdistan region and who express their love and appreciation to you and which every of them is proud of its name as it has been for thousands of years.

What we hope you and really ask you is not to approve the ratification of the decision of the Parliament of the Kurdistan region with regard to Article 5 of the draft Constitution of the Kurdistan region which is in line with article 125 in the Federal Constitution of Iraq, in which your Excellency had played great role and which was well appreciated.
