The Lebanese and the Israeli armies seems to have the same enemies

The Lebanese army clashed with some Palestinian guerrillas just a week ago.

Those guerrillas were the ones belonging to Abou Mousa and Abou Nidal and Ahmad Gibril and probably more. The clash occurred on the border between Syrian and Lebanon where the guerrillas has training camps since many years.

During the clashes one Lebanese soldier was killed.

One week after that event we got a new clash in Lebanon. That time it was between the Israeli army and exactly the same Palestinian guerrillas supported by the Lebanese Islamic guerrilla of Hezbollah. After the Palestinian Islamic Jihad fired rockets to Israel’s northern border the Israeli defence force answered by shooting back on Palestinian goals in south Lebanon and in the border between Lebanon and Syria in the Bekaa valley.

In the clashes there were also some Israeli injuries beside many in the Palestinian side.

Both the Lebanese and the Israeli armies had in a period of one week fought the same goals pointing at the same enemy loosing the same number of soldiers.

Is that a coincident or a new path the countries are taking after the Arab Syrian military withdrawal from Lebanon?
