The Future of the Christians in the Middle East

If we do the same formula twice or ten times we should not expect to get anything else but the same results.

The Christian tried time after time to build with other groups up the societies but failed every time. We helped the Arabs to get rid of the Turks, and later the Europeans. We supported Arabism even if we are not Arabs. We supported the nation buildings but those nations could nor protect us in bad times or give us equal rights in good times.

Maybe it is time that we try a new way, the way of self-ruling. When Christians had the domination power in Lebanon it was called the ¨Pearl of the Orient¨ and the ¨Switzerland of the East¨. This means that the oriental Christians can easily create successful states if they are allowed to do in their historical lands from the coast of Lebanon to the rivers of Iraq.
