The Relations Between Lebanon and Future Syria

Lebanon and Syria should have good neighboring relations based on mutual respect and common interest.

The new governments after the war in Syria and new elections in both countries should implement those emerging issues between them:

1. Revealing the fate of all Lebanese prisoners in the Syria jails and freeing who can be freed.
2. Demarcation of all borders according to the UN maps and international meassures. This includes the sea, Akkar, Bekaa and South of Lebanon regions.
3. Dissolving the higher Syrian Lebanese council created by Syria to control the Lebanese political and economical life.
4. Terminate the previous agreements of cooperation that were made during the Syrian occupation of Lebanon and replacing them with new deals that benefits both people and countries.
5. Agree that the presence of the Syrian Arab Baath army and intelligence in Lebanon was occupation and not some normal condition.
