Solution for the crisis in Syria
There must be a will to end the crisis in Syria despite the
different paths the two parts of the conflict have taken.
Representatives from the Syrian regime, the Syrian National Council
and the Syrian Free Army should meet in a neutral country outside
the Middle East to open a new page for the future of Syria. Results
that could come out are:
1. Amnesty to all involving parts for the various crimes commited
during the time of war.
2. Al Assad family must leave power and settle down in any country
that offers them asylum. In the future, a new Syrian parliament can
vote for their right to return or not.
3. The formation of a new government made from all three parties
equally
4. Free elections with UN supervision
The Syrian leadership and opposition must learn from the lebanese
experience of 15 years of wars that came to an agreement after about
150 000 people dead was made and Amnesty given to all the killing
parties.
Spare Syria more bloodshed and end this war now. |
