The Aramean Nation is Bleeding

A new Christmas has come and a new year is about to begin in a time when our beloved Aramean nation is bleeding more than ever. Our great nation with all states and kingdoms in the holy Middle East are now lost to other people and other cultures instead of our proud and glorious civilization.

We should start to know where we are going and what should be done to break this evil circle.

1. In the Iraq of today our people are fleeing like birds and stepped on like ants. A result of the hatred feelings from Muslim groups that came out after the Saddam Hussein dictatorship had fallen.

2. In Turkey we went in 100 years from being the people of the land to become a third hand people with a number of less than 0,1 percent. A result of the ongoing genocide against us.

3. In Syria we have been able to have a more stable situation as long as we support the regime of the country. In the same time we have seen all our historical villages and regions left becoming more and more Islamized like the Christian valley, the Maaloula village, the Qamishli and Hasake region and even the Bab Touma neighbourhood in Damascus.

4. In The holy land we are arabised to a very large extent. In Gaza and the West Bank we many times have to pay the old Jizya for being Christians.

5. In Lebanon we had our last free state, our last standing bastion. In the last 30 years we have seen a decline in power and a Christian situation were the people are being confused between either support the Shiite side or the Sunni side or simply leave the country.

We have had so many enemies against our people to try to change our civilization.

To all of those we say: the Aramean Syriac civilization of the Christians in the holy Middle East will not stop the fight for its survival. Even if we can less and less we will continue, we are the masters of the east and we shall continue struggling to get our pride position back.
