The Christians of Lebanon,
always paying the price
070620
The Christians of Lebanon are
being once again the victims of the developments in Lebanon.
In 1990 the Christians paid the
price of the peace accord of Taif in Saudi Arabia by losing the war in
Lebanon and surrendering to the Syrian occupation.
In 2005 they paid the price of
liberation from the Syrian occupation when they were the major side
fighting peacefully from 1990 until 2005. Many times getting in jail and
killed and discriminated in the Lebanese society.
In 2005 there were a change of
wind and the 1559 came and just after that the Cedar Revolution was a
fact in Lebanon’s history. The peaceful revolution that shocked the
world and got the Arab Syrian Army out of Lebanon.
2005 had many happy moments for
the Christian Lebanese but also many sad moments with many explosions
and assassinations in Christian areas.
So far between 2005 and 2007
there has been over 20 explosions with over 95 % aiming and targeting
Christian personalities and Christians areas.
The good spirit the people
finally got in the beginning of 2005 have stopped and foreign powers
have once again made the 2 biggest Christian groups turn against each
other.
This is of course genius from
the ones that plan the developments in Lebanon.
We
all know who the biggest coordinator in Lebanon used to be.
It is time that the Damascus
wind starts to change. Lebanon has seen too many troubles from that side
of the border.
Long
Live Lebanon
Free, pluralistic and a
final nation for the Aramaic civilization
