From Maronite to Marionette to Maronite again

How could Maronite personalities and leaders allow themselves to be Marionettes in the hands of the Syrian Baath regime for so many years?.

Today, the free nation of Lebanon is liberated from the dictatorship of the Assad regime in Syria. The Maronites played an essential roll in the liberation but there were also some Maronite leaders that knew how to be leaders on their people but in the front of the enemies they were like small rats.

They forgot the great history they have and the great heritage their ancestors have given them.

Thanks God that all Maronites didn’t forget. Most Maronites showed that they might kill each others but they can never bow to any force trying to force its rules on them.

From being proud Maronites through history to becoming Marionettes under the Baath regime till they today have liberated themselves and will eventually start to act as the free thinkers and dreamers they are.

I hope their dreams and visions will be for the best of Lebanon and the Christian people.
