Aramean Democratic Organization appeals to the Aramean people in Syria with its different church affiliations: Syriac, Chaldean, Maronite ,Evangelical, Roman, Assyrian,Orthodox and Catholics, to participate in the uprising of the Syrian people to achieve full democracy and rule of law and principles of human rights.

Furthermore the Aramean Democratic Organization urges the free world and the United States and European Union in the forefront to put pressure on the regime in Damascus to stop the repression and violence against protesters and opponents and release of those detained in connection with the demonstrations

As Christian people and Arameans we do not have any option but to work to achieve a political system which guarantees the transfer of power, in accordance to the principles of true democracy and diversity of political parties, nationalism, culture, intellectualism and religion, and maintain the dignity of the citizen and the nation, and protects its assets to achieve economic prosperity and social justice.
